Describe the Activity:

Learning to code is difficult, but so is learning salsa dancing or playing the guitar. Consistent practice, week after week, is how you become a great programmer. Our semester-long programs build upon basic skills learned in introductory classes like the Hour of Code and reinforce that new knowledge with hands-on experience. We have courses for students age 9+, from our Coding Club (age 9-12), to Coding League (age 11-14), and the Academy (age 13-17).

Coding Club students learn about computational thinking and block-based programming using MIT Scratch. Coding League students learn about web development and computer science basics using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Awesome Inc Academy students learn about projects in web, mobile, and games using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, Android, C#, and Unity 3D.

Time Details:

Courses are held in the fall, spring, and summer. Fall and spring courses are about 14 weeks, while the summer courses are about 4 days each.
