Lincoln County Public Library will host Explore Tech: Engineers Make a World of Difference, a national traveling exhibition that introduces the role engineers play in our lives. The exhibit features hands-on and multimedia components that allow exhibit visitors to interact with exhibit content in a dynamic way, encouraging new perspectives about engineers and their vital work.
Explore Tech: Engineers Make a World of Difference was organized by Space Science Institute’s National Center for Interactive Learning, the American Library Association’s Public Programs Office, the Lunar and Planetary Institute and the Afterschool Alliance. This project was made possible through the support of a grant from the National Science Foundation.

Getting people interested in science can be a challenge, but Explore Tech: Engineers Make a World of Difference strives to make it fun with hands-on, multimedia activities. The library will also offer a related series of public events to bring STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) programming to children, teens and adults in our community.
The exhibition will be displayed from January 21, 2017 to March 11, 2017. For a calendar of related programs, visit http://www.lcplinfo.org. The Lincoln County Public Library is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9 am – 6 pm, Tuesday, Thursday 9 am – 8 pm, and Saturday 9 am – 3 pm.
