Our Place In Space (June 17)

Our mission is to engage, inspire and empower young adults to help shape the future of space exploration -- regardless of educational background, everyone has a valuable place in space.

On Saturday, June 17th, 2017, at Headliners Music Hall in Louisville, Kentucky, you will hear from NASA engineers, astrophysicists, planetary scientists, and policy advocates about how they need you to help shape the future of space exploration.

2:00pm - Workshops begin
3:00pm - Becky Steele (NASA Solar System Ambassador)
3:15pm - Tracy Drain (Flight Systems Engineer at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory)
4:45pm - Stephen Watson (Mission Assurance Manager, Project Software Systems Engineer at NASA Jet Propulation Laboratory
6:00pm - Intermission
6:50pm - Casey Dreier (Space Policy Advocate at The Planetary Society)
7:35pm - Breanna Ausbrooks (Astrophysicist at University of Louisville)
8:30pm - Entertainment
9:00pm - Doors close (attendees are invited to a Star Party at the Louisville Astronomical Society Dark Site Observatory in Curby, IN)
