Describe the Activity: 

The University of Kentucky is hosting a symposium Sept. 29-30 to help students and professionals who are interested in STEM careers design and implement a career path and develop skills to help them effectively communicate about their work. Time Details: 

The symposium takes place in the afternoon on September 29 and all day September 30, 2017. Register by September 8 for early bird discount. The deadline to register is September 22.

Cost Details: 

Prices range from $5 to $60, depending on ASBMB membership, type of registrant, and early bird/regular registration.

Outcome of the Activity: 
Participants will gain insight into different STEM career paths and take part in interactive training in communication, outreach, and professional development.
